In LEAP Bridge Steel inside OpenBridge Designer under Analysis, (1) there are several possible options to be set. To activate the FEM options, the Type of analysis in the Analysis options at the top should be set to Finite Element. (2) The Meshing size may be set under Analysis/FEM Meshing Settings. (3) In LBS, the resulting mesh can be checked under Analysis/Preview Analytical Model, where, depending on the number of elements and their size, it might be more useful to select to show either Deck and Girders, or a Solid Fill to the grid, (5) as shown in the screenshot below.
