How to measure the minimum distance between solids in MicroStation CONNECT Edition

Steps to Accomplish

 

  1. Select the Measure Distance tool from the Ribbon ( Drawing > Analyze > Measure or Modeling > Analyze > Measure ) or Pop Up menu 

  2. In the Tool Settings dialog set the Method: to Minimum Between (Optionally expand the Tool Settings by clicking on the Down Arrow to see Start and End point information).

  3. Select the first solid followed by the second solid, the Minimum Distance is recorded in the Tool Settings dialog.
