QUESTION: Does the program calculate the dead loads of the Wingwall and Approach slab?

ANSWER:

If the Approach slab information is added in the program, then in DC load case the user can generate just the approach slab loads on abutment as a force and moment.

Currently we don’t have an option to automatically generate the wing wall self-weight load on abutment and wingwall is only for modeling purpose.

Similar to how the approach slab load is applied, user can manually apply the self-weight load of the wingwall under the “Cap/Stem loads” as a “Force or UDL load”.
