RM Bridge offers a simple and concise method for creating a backup or importing all or partial project input data into a working folder: Read the project as TCL File and Save to TCL File imports or create an editable ASCII Tool Command Language file: *.tcl. It can be done either from Modeler or Analyzer, while the second can create also the first file, as highlighted in the screenshot below.
When exiting the program another similar simplified option is offered to create the backup files. This type of file is very useful for backup, creating large amounts of input faster thru text and sharing information between different project teams. Based on the actual binary files it creates a very light, simple, and programmable script file with series.
Although it is highly recommended to save several instances with the phases of the project in different backup files, only some experienced users should edit these files outside RM Modeler using an external editor as there are many dependencies that must be completely understood before going thru modify a programmable file.
