Superposition Rules are used to combine the contributions of the individual natural modes in the final Seismic result including all. As shown in the image below, in the pull-down menu, the options are:
ABS - Absolute values https://bentleysystems.service-now.com/community?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0112189
SRSS - Square Root of Sum of Squares https://bentleysystems.service-now.com/community?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0112199
DSC - Double Sum Combination https://bentleysystems.service-now.com/community?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0112180
CQC - Complete Quadratic Combination https://bentleysystems.service-now.com/community?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0112214
CQCX - Complete Quadratic Combination variant without sign adjustment https://bentleysystems.service-now.com/community?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0112124
Pro Tip: The variants may be used with or without RM mode superposition method. This technique provides concurrent result values in addition to the maximum and minimum values of the individual result components. For example: the maximum Longitudinal Moment with concurrent Normal forces or the minimum Normal force with the concurrent Transversal Moment.
