Analytical Insights (AI) is data analytics service for design engineering with following objectives

AI enables you define custom engineering rules in addition to code prescribed rule for engineering design. AI will also let you merge construction data from various sources with engineering model offering practical design.
In principle, AI implements following workflow
An Engineering Manager can set up design rules online through CONNECT portal. These rules will be shared across their entire organization. These rules will specify property of the structure along with permissible limits e.g. span to depth ratio for steel beams should not be less than 20.
An Engineer can upload a model from RAM Structural Systems to Analytical Insights by first converting RSS model to an ISM file format then sending data to Analytical Insights through AI Extractor.
User will be associating a model with a specific CONNECT project.
CONNECT sign-in and CONNECT project assignment are requirements to utilize Analytical Insights.
