Traffic Tool

LumenRT for NVIDIA Omniverse Traffic Tool is a powerful tool that allows the creation of real-time traffic along any city street or highway in a matter of seconds. In addition to accommodating bi-directional traffic flows, this method can be used for both right-hand side and left-hand side configurations with right and left lanes. When using the multi-lane traffic tool, you will need to select a collection of vehicles that you wish to include in the traffic population and then draw a path for the vehicles to follow.

To create traffic into your model click on 'Add traffic'.

The first step in adding traffic to your model is defining the route. While holding down the SHIFT button, draw the traffic path in the viewport. Release the SHIFT button to insert new or select/move existing key-points. You can also modify tightness of a selected key-point by pressing +/- keys, or remove it by pressing R key.

After creating the path, you need to choose the vehicles from the library. To choose vehicles click on "Select", it will route you to vehicles library.

By clicking on the vehicles it will get selected. Click on "Ok" after selecting the vehicles.

Click on "Create traffic" in order to see the traffic in the path.

Go to Movie editor/ Time-line to see the traffic animation.
