The Erection Sequence considered in the Spliced Precast I Girder construction is presented below and explained in detail in the video attached.
The different construction stages calculated are:
- Stage 1: Construct Abutments and Intermediate Bents
- Stage 2: Erect Temporary Shoring Towers & Construct Abut. Caps
- Stage 3: Erect Haunched Segments (Segments 2 and 4)
- Stage 4: Attach Steel Strongbacks & Erect End Segments (1 and 5)
- Stage 5: Attach Steel Strongbacks & Erect Drop-In Segment 3
- Stage 6: Cast Closure Pours
- Stage 7: Stress Tendon 1 and Release Uplift Restraints
- Stage 8: Central Slab Pour
- Stage 9: Stress Tendons 2 & 3 and Remove Steel Strongbacks
- Stage 10: End Segments Slab Pour
- Stage 11: Stress Tendon 4 & Superimposed Dead Load
- Stage 12: Final of Construction
