How to change the Attributes ( Level, Color, Style ....etc ) of multiple elements
Background
The first step in changing the attributes of multiple elements is to select those elements to be changed, this can be achieved for example by using the Element Selection or Select By Attributes tool. See the Help documentation and other articles for assistances with this process.
Having identified ( selected ) the required elements for change here are a few methods to change their Attributes.
Steps to Accomplish
Option 1 Use the Change Attributes tool
- Select the elements required to be changed
- Choose the 'Change Element Attributes' tool from the Ribbon ( or popup menu )
- In the Tool Settings dialog, place a checkmark(s) against the attribute to change and select the required Attribute
- Accept the selected Elements by placing a data point in the view
- Deselect the elements to see change
Option 2 Use the ribbon Attributes group tools
- Select the elements required to be changed
- From the ribbon Attributes group select the required attributes to change
- Deselect the elements to see change
Option 3 Use the Properties dialog
- Select the elements required to be changed
- Open the ' Properties' dialog ' by selecting the tool from the ribbon or popup menu
- In the Properties dialog select the Attributes to change in the General section
- Deselect the elements to see change
