How to apply Transparency to a filled shape or element
Steps to Accomplish
Option 1
- Select the Shape or Element in the view by clicking on it once
- From the Active Attributes Tools at the top, click on the Element Transparency as shown in image 2
- Select a Transparency value, the higher the value, the more transparent the element becomes
- Once a value is selected, the element should appear transparent, see image 4
- If it does not, see Transparency not displayed
Option 2
- Select the Shape or Element in the view by clicking on it once
- Right click on the Element and select Properties from the pop-up menu (Element Information in older versions), see image 3
- The Element Information dialog appears, from the General section click in the Transparency field and choose a value
- Once a value is selected, the element should appear transparent, see image 4
- If it does not, see Transparency not displayed
