Problem

When working on a heavy-duty desktop machine it can be difficult to carry around to different locations or if your organization does not allow employees to move computers out of the office premises.

Solution

Remote Desktop Connection offers a great way to log into that machine from your personal computer.

HP has introduced the latest pro-grade solution, HP ZCentral Remote Boost, that harnesses the power of a Z Workstation. It gives your power users the performance boost they need to tackle their most demanding, graphics-intensive projects from anywhere. Formerly known this software as called Remote Graphics Software (RGS), this is the same software with more capabilities.

Using this software to connect to machines in the workplace from a remote location will require appropriate advice and possibly additional actions from your IT support team.
