Variables and variations created to control parametric cells can be exported to a CSV file for backup or further manipulation.
Open the Contraints tab and click on Variables
Click on File > Export
Browse for the path in which to save the file and then click on Export
The CSV can then be imported back to the original file or into a new file. Note the optional 'Clear Existing' boxes, ticking these boxes will remove existing local variables.
It may be more convenient to add variables and/or variations to the CSV using the copy, fill, etc. tools in Excel or other CSV editors.
To sucessfully achieve this the CSV format must be maintained, take care to follow the data structure created during export and when opening the CSV in Excel ensure that the text delimiter is a comma and that the 'Column data format' is 'Text'.
