RAM Connection CONNECT Edition V13 Update 6 Patch 1 (v13.6.1) Release Notes – Updated December 2021

This is a patch release (full installer) for RAM Connection v13.6.0 release.

Resolved Issues:

• Chevron connection in RAM Connection stand alone was not transferring correctly forces from the joint to the connection.
  
  
• AISC Truss-Gusset-Branch connection had a glitch when calculating bolted net area as bolt rows and columns where inverted.
  
  
• AISC Column-Beam-Brace gusset had a nullable object error caused  by the Is column end property used in the calculation of the web plate strength due out-of-plane transverse load.
  
  
• AISC Column-Beam-Brace gusset internal design error as weld capacity was being calculated with zero length during optimization.
  
  
• RAM Connection for RAM Structural System had some issues detecting BCF joints as some joints were being detected as CVR joints. This is fixed now and all joints included CVR and Chord-Branch joints are detected properly.
  
  
• EN Column-Beam-Brace gusset brace bolt bearing check wrong thickness for I2C and T2L braces as thickness needs to be duplicated.
  
  
• AS Flange Cover Plate net area not considering number of bolt columns properly for C sections.
  
  
• CVR joint with only lower gusset plates on both sides was not showing plate thickness and plate material. It was only a visibility issue, both items are shown properly now.
