Problem Description

The Ortho lock is currently set as default in MicroStation

Steps to Resolve

1. Firstly open the menu:

Settings > Locks > Full

This opens the Locks dialog to allow you to see which locks are switched on and off.

2. The lock axis may be set ON, and can be seen in the following keyin:

Utilities>Keyin> Lock Axis

This key-in can then be placed on a Function Key to enable changing the lock ON or OFF.

In MicroStationV8i:

Settings > Design Files > Axis> Axis Lock

In MicroStation CONNECT:

Settings > File> Design Files > Axis

3. The Grid Lock may also be checked ON, Select the following:

Settings>Design File>Grid and uncheck 'Grid Lock'.
