How to turn off dynamic display when warping raster
Background
When editing the attached raster file using 'Warp raster' tool, the warping raster is displayed dynamically which can be sometimes in the way of selecting the points. In V8i there was no such dynamic display and this is preferred when warping the raster.
Steps to Accomplish
- Go to File > Settings > User > Preferences

Raster Manager > General > Draw Raster Bitmap in Dynamic - this setting is on by default. After turning it off as shown on the screenshot below, dynamic display will be off
