Problem

How to disable MS_V7AUTOSAVE and MS_V7AUTOSAVE_NODIALOG

Solution

Go to Workspace > configuration and set the MS_V7AUTOSAVE to a very high number and set the MS_V7AUTOSAVE_NODIALOG to 1.
