Problem
MicroStation CONNECT Update 13 can not be installed due to error 0x80070666 – error message says that CONNECT Advisor could not be installed because there is already another version of CONNECCT Advisor installed but that there is no CONNECT Advisor installed on the machine.
Solution
1. Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2015 and 2017 for both (x64, x86) from Add/Remove programs.
2. Restart the machine
3. Now try to install MicroStation
4. No need to install VC++ 2015 explicitly. MicroStation application will take care of this.
5. Install VC ++ 2017 again (with the same version)
