Problem

Cannot open DWG settings dialog

Solution

dwgsettings.ma file is missing or bad.

Dwgsettings.ma should be found by configuration variable "_USTN_REQUIREDAPPS"

The default location is for V8 2004 and V8 XM:

...\MicroStation\mdlsys\required\

For V8i and V8i (SELECTseries):

...\MicroStation\mdlsys\asneeded\

Move dwgsettings.ma into the a search path of "_USTN_REQUIREDAPPS".

Or,

Replace the file from a known good installation
