Problem

Graphic group not retained in DWG files.

After saving DWG file or saving as DWG, graphic groups are removed.

Solution

Enable "Preserve MicroStation Settings" in DWG Open Options.

Steps:

1. In MicroStation "File Open" window, highlight the DWG file, select "Options".
2. In the "Basic section", enable "Preserve MicroStation settings.
3. Click OK and open the file as needed.
