Problem
How to get geographic (longitude/latitude) coordinate readouts in MicroStation?
Solution
Set the coordinate system of the design file:
Tools > Geographic >Select Geographic Coordinate System
After setting the Coordinate System, select
> Tools > Coordinate Systems > ACS > Auxiliary Coordinates
and double-click the coordinate system in the dialog to make it active.
In the lower-right section of the MicroStation Window status bar, right-click the mouse and select Running Coordinates.
Left-click the coordinate display on the status bar and select ACS Position.
Modify the angle readout and set it as desired
> Settings > Design File > Angle Readout
Change the Format, Accuracy and Direction Mode as required.
Save the settings (File > Save Settings).
