Problem

In MicroStation CONNECT Edition, I need to reset my keyboard shortcuts to factory defaults.

Solution

1. Close out of MicroStation CONNECT completely
2. Open Windows File Explorer. Toggle ON the "File name extensions" and "Hidden items" (View tab>Show/hide ribbon group)

3. Within Windows File Explorer, navigate to C:\Users\<user.name>\AppData\Local\Bentley\MicroStation\10.0.0\prefs
4. Rename the file "Personal.KeyboardShortcuts.xml" to "Personal.KeyboardShortcuts.xml.old"

5. Open MicroStation CONNECT again - the keyboard shortcuts should now be back to factory defaults. Creating and applying new keyboard shortcuts will autogenerate a new "Personal.KeyboardShortcuts.xml" file within the same file pathway
