Problem

MicroStation exits when attaching Bing Map.

Solution

User is connecting to internet via a Proxy environment
Proxy was set to "Use System Proxy Settings" in Bentley Licensing Tool
Changed to "Use Custom Proxy Settings" and Bing Map attach works.

• Open Bentley Licensing Tool
• Go to Tools > Options
• Set Use Custom Proxy Settings
• Enter Proxy Server/Port details ProxyIP:PortNo
• Enter Proxy Server Authentication if applicable
• Test Proxy Configuration
• Click Apply, OK button to save the settings
