What is the best method to attach a PDF document in MicroStation CONNECT Edition?
Solution
The recommended method to attach a PDF to a DGN is to attach it as a Raster reference. Follow the steps below to achieve the same:
1. Select the Attach Raster tool (Drawing > Attach > Raster).
The Attach Raster Reference dialog opens.
2. Select the desired PDF
3. Click Open.
The Raster Attachment Options dialog opens which allows you to define different settings for the attachment.
4. Select the file path under attachments and right click to see Page Selection option.
The Select Page window opens.
5. Select the desired page.
6. Click OK.
7. Select Attach on the Raster Attachments Options dialog.
The PDF is attached and displays in the DGN.
