Problem Description
How to ensure all files including sub-directories are gathered in Packager.
Steps to Resolve
Packager gathers all files related to a particular master design file.
Packager works in terms of relative, not absolute, paths. Ensure that all reference files are attached with relative paths. It is also important to be in the workspace that you are trying to package
Packager can be found in:
Utilities > Packager
The type of the files that can be included in a Package:
· current workspace
· configuration variables
· line style settings
· seed files
· attached (and nested) references
By selecting Recursive ON in the Packager process, it searches and gets all the design files in the sub-directories from the current directory.
Packager then creates a PZIP file. MicroStation supplies a .pzip extractor tool. Double-clicking the .pzip file launches the extractor and opens the file.
