Problem
Error message displaying when opening DGN file from ProjectWise
Solution
An error message of this nature is usually related to the Integration of ProjectWise Explorer Client with the current installation of MicroStation.
One method to resolve this error would be by uninstalling and reinstalling ProjectWise Explorer. This seems to repair the integration problem between the two products.
Another would be by Disabling ProjectWise Integration however, this would prevent access to files/standards in the ProjectWise environment.
To ensure MicroStation and ProjectWise work smoothly together, it is advisable to ensure the version of MicroStation you are running is compatible with the version of ProjectWise you are running according to the ProjectWise Support Matrix here.
For instance, if your ProjectWise version is 10.00.03.434, then you would need to run MicroStation CONNECT Edition versions 10.13.01.01, 10.14.02.01, 10.15.02.11, or 10.16.01.56
