Draping a Raster file on a solid or DTM

Background

You might need a Raster image to drape on a DTM, a solid, or a mesh.

Steps to Accomplish

1.Load a Raster file in Raster Manager
2.Right-click on the header row of the Raster Manager and select “Draping”
3.Select the Raster file you want to drape and toggle on the Draping for the selected Raster file
4.Open the Materials Editor
5.Palettes>Open and load the dcdrape.pal palette
   dcdrape.pal is available in the legacy directory: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\connectsharedcontent\materials\Legacy_Materials
6.Select the dcdrape material and attach it to the desired elements (or assign it to the desired level)
7.Set the View to one of the Illustration modes or Smooth or Smooth with Shadows
