The Situation

Would you like to access many of the most commonly used tools without having to switch workflows or ribbon tabs?

Solution

Access many of the most common tools from the Ribbon Group Popups.

The Ribbon Group “Popups” is a small, easily accessible, “popup” tool box that appears at the at the cursor pointer by pressing the <Spacebar> on the keyboard when the focus (input focus or keyboard focus) is Home.

Accessing the Ribbon Group “Popups”:

  1. Verify that the input focus is set to Home.

  2. Press the <spacebar> on the keyboard.

  3. Select the desired tool or group.

Note: An easy way to set the input focus to Home is by enabling the User Preference ESC exits command.
