Problem

Capture key-in missing in CONNECT

From User...

In v8i you could take screenshots and other stuff via the keyin "capture view". The entire "capture" keyin is missing in CONNECT!

Solution

Go to "Drawing > Utilities > Image > Capture" which loads the MDL "SCRNCAPT". Once the MDL is loaded the Capture key-ins are available

Alternatively key-in “MDL LOAD SCRNCAPT" and the Capture key-ins are available in CONNECT

To load this MDL automatically in all MicroStation sessions
•  Open any text editor "notepad" and "Run as Administrator"
•  Open the following CFG file
   C:\Program Files\Bentley\MicroStation CONNECT Edition\MicroStation\config\system\applicationload.cfg
•  Look for the configuration variable "_USTN_FIRSTDGNFILE"
•  Go to the last occurrence of this variable
•  Add "_USTN_FIRSTDGNFILE > scrncapt"
