After installing MicroStation, when starting the software, a warning message appears; "Warning: minor version mismatch." followed by some more various text.
Sometimes, MicroStation can be accessed and other times it cannot be accessed. Seems to be a sporadic issue.
Warning: minor version mismatch. Program-(xx.xx.xx.xxx). Resource File-(xx.xx.xx.xx)
C:\Program Files\Bentley\MicroStation CONNECT Edition\MicroStation\ustation.rsc
It is possible some system files (.dll, .rsc, etc.) are not up to date with the current MicroStation version. This is most likely caused by a corrupted installation or update of MicroStation.
To resolve, try repairing the install of MicroStation first by following these steps:
If repairing/modifying the installation does not work, then try a clean uninstall/reinstall of MicroStation:
1. Uninstall MicroStation
2. Then delete the entire MicroStation CONNECT Edition folder located here:
C:\Program Files\Bentley\MicroStation CONNECT Edition
3. Reboot the machine
4. Then reinstall MicroStation and see if the issue persists
