Problem

When I try to group elements with CTRL+G, some or all of the resulting grouped elements are displaying as blank boxes and the graphics of the original elements have disappeared entirely.

Solution

Turn OFF the Fast Cells option within the View Attributes dialog

If the affected elements are contained in a reference file, you will need to ensure the Fast Cells option is toggled OFF as well within the Reference Presentation settings dialog

References dialog > right-click on the reference > Presentation
 

Toggle OFF the Fast Cells option and Press OK
