Display MicroStation Using a Dark Themed Interface.

MicroStation now allows you to work on your DGN and DWG files using a dark themed user interface (UI). Many believe that a “dark mode” reduces eye strain and helps make it easier to stay focused by emitting less light from the screen. This can be beneficial when in a lower light environment. The Dark Theme UI can ease your workflows and reduce energy consumption by having fewer illuminated pixels. In the Dark Mode, any fully dark area will have its pixels turned completely off.

To Enable the Dark Themed user interface:

  1. Open the User Preferences dialog (File > Settings > User > Preferences).
  2. Select Look and Feel.
  3. Enable the checkbox Apply Dark Theme UI.
  4. Click OK and go back to main screen
  5. Save settings (CTRL+f)
  6. Restart MicroStation.
