Display MicroStation Using a Dark Themed Interface. MicroStation now allows you to work on your DGN and DWG files using a dark themed user interface (UI). Many believe that a “dark mode” reduces eye strain and helps make it easier to stay focused by emitting less light from the screen. This can be beneficial when in a lower light environment. The Dark Theme UI can ease your workflows and reduce energy consumption by having fewer illuminated pixels. In the Dark Mode, any fully dark area will have its pixels turned completely off. |
To Enable the Dark Themed user interface:
- Open the User Preferences dialog (File > Settings > User > Preferences).
- Select Look and Feel.
- Chose the best configuration in Color Scheme (Dark)*.
- Click OK and go back to main screen
*The Windows 11 color them is in 'Tech Preview" and is currently in trial mode. You might see some issues initially, so it is recommended to restart MicroStation to see the setting take full effect.
