Explanation of the Quality Factor setting under Settings - Raster Options in the Print dialog.
Sets the percent of the printer's resolution capability that Raster Manager will take advantage of when printing raster images. A value of 50 means that Raster Manager will print an image on a 600 DPI printer as if it were only 300 DPI. Lower quality settings print faster and generate smaller plot files. Higher quality settings print slower and create larger plot files.
Values from 1 to 100 inclusive may be keyed in to the text field, or set via the slide control. When you change the Quality factor field or slide control you will see the DPI change in the Raster resolution (dpi) field below the Printer resolution (dpi) field.
