If a calculation does not run as smoothly as you expected, or it appears that the phase calculation does not converge, it is sometimes difficult to understand why this is the case. Since the release of PLAXIS 2D/3D CONNECT Edition V21, inspecting these details is easier using the Calculation Log Collector! You can inspect any phase by just selecting the option from the Phases Explorer or Phases Window:

And if you want to access it while the phase is still calculating, you can now launch it directly from the Calculation Progress Screen:
