With the introduction of the PLAXIS CONNECT Edition V21, SOILVISION products are adopting the PLAXIS brand and we are simplifying all our geotechnical analysis licensing to offer you more streamlined access to our newest, most advanced capabilities, and interoperability among PLAXIS offerings. Previous SOILVISION CONNECT Edition V10 licensing options will be deprecated and will no longer exist.
For PLAXIS LE CONNECT Edition V21 and onward, SVSLOPE, SVFLUX, SVSOLID, and SVSOILS products will be consolidated. Advanced tiers of these products and SOILVISION Suites that include combinations of these products will be deprecated, which will offer more advanced geotechnical capabilities and analysis options per license.

PLAXIS 2D LE is a new license that provides you with all the features of the previous products 2D SVSLOPE, 2D SVFLUX, and the large-strain consolidation (LSC) feature of 2D SVSOLID. Other 2D SVSOLID analysis features have been deprecated as a more comprehensive feature set is available with a PLAXIS 2D license.
SVSOILS functionality is now available as part of the Geotechnical SELECT Entitlements (GSE) feature set of PLAXIS 2D LE.
PLAXIS 3D LE is a new license that provides you with all the features of the previous products 3D SVSLOPE, 3D SVFLUX, and the large-strain consolidation (LSC) feature of 3D SVSOLID. Other 3D SVSOLID analysis features have been deprecated as a more comprehensive feature set is available with a PLAXIS 3D license.
SVSOILS functionality is now available as part of the Geotechnical SELECT Entitlements (GSE) feature set of PLAXIS 3D LE.
PLAXIS 3D LE also includes all the capabilities of PLAXIS 2D LE.
SVDESIGNER has been renamed to PLAXIS Designer and is interoperable with both PLAXIS 2D LE and PLAXIS 3D LE. All functionality is unchanged.

PLAXIS 2D Worksuite is now available and provides you with the full complement of 2D geotechnical analysis products: PLAXIS 2D Ultimate and PLAXIS 2D LE.
The SOILVISION 2D Suite license has been deprecated.
PLAXIS 3D WorkSuite is now available and provides you with the full complement of 3D geotechnical analysis products: PLAXIS 3D Ultimate, PLAXIS 3D LE, and PLAXIS Designer.
The SOILVISION 2D/3D Suite licenses have been deprecated.
For pre-existing users, our licensing team has worked hard to configure the access to the new license types based the licenses your company owns for SOILVISION CONNECT Edition V10. When installing PLAXIS LE CONNECT Edition Version 21 and launching it for the first time, the proper entitlement will need to be selected by you in order to prevent QTL/overusage.
If you are a pre-existing SOILVISION CONNECT Edition V10 user, when switching to the new licensing in V21, for 2D analysis modeling you will need to select only between either PLAXIS 2D LE and PLAXIS 3D LE. For 3D analysis modeling, the PLAXIS 3D LE license is required. For a complete overview of the new licenses, your organization has access to you are advised to contact your Bentley Sales Representative (Account manager).
Important notice: when starting with these new PLAXIS Tiers, the license alert threshold is not automatically set for these products.

With the release of PLAXIS CONNECT Edition V21 and the simplified license options, the previous SOILVISION CONNECT Edition V10 - Geotechnical SELECT Entitlements (GSE) features remain available as part of GSE. The entire feature set of the previous SVSOILS product is now available as part of the Geotechnical SELECT Entitlements (GSE) feature set with a PLAXIS 2D LE license or PLAXIS 3D LE license.

SVENVIRO is one of the licensed products available with a SOILVISION CONNECT Edition V10 installation. It has entered Expiring Support status as of January 1, 2021 and will not be available for use with the PLAXIS LE CONNECT Edition V21. Please visit here for more information.
