User requests
The following user requests have been incorporated in this release:
- [734432] LEM - Exposed calculated 3D surface, 3D failure surface, and planar failure surface areas for reporting in the Output module and via the Slope Solver Python API.
- [623894] LEM - Added option to display the critical sliding mass column color contouring based on the anisotropy at the column base. Coloring is applied depending on if the Rock Mass, Discontinuity, or Transition shear strength properties are applied for Anisotropic Linear Model (ALM) materials.
- [599888] LEM - A crest gap and a toe gap can now be specified instead of a single gap between Entry lines and Exit lines per location when using the Entry & Exit search method for a Multi-Plane Analysis (MPA).
- [327518] Groundwater - Replaced use of Stage 0 with Initial Conditions throughout the Output display options for Groundwater analysis and made improvements to various other display selectors.
- [327719] Groundwater - Added global time convergence settings to apply to all analysis stages and moved the per stage settings to the FEM Options dialog.
- [714365] Improved surface mesh intersection operations to be 10-20% faster on average.
Fixed issues
A large number of issues have been addressed, including:
- [745472] LEM - Fixed NullReferenceException error encountered on an Insert New Mesh Surface operation in models containing a blast disturbance boundary.
- [737876] LEM - The original 3D slip direction choice is now retained if Orientation Analysis is enabled and subsequently disabled.
- [731330] LEM - Fixed an error when importing model geometry from a PLAXIS LE - Groundwater model with un-initialized flux sections.
- [728586] LEM - Corrected situation where Multi-Plane Analysis (MPA) runs with an Entry & Exit search in child models were not solving if Entry & Exit was not set in the parent model.
- [727992] LEM - Addressed an exception when analyzing a 3D MPA model for a specific case when MVMs volumes were almost like a "block model".
- [727985] LEM - Resolved a failure to solve a modeling case with slip surface optimization, a non-strength material, and zero-thickness above bedrock.
- [721485] LEM - Fixed an object visibility exception when enabling Visualize Ponding in a 3D model with incomplete Discrete Points pore-water pressure input.
- [721493] LEM - The water table display could not be turned off if the water input option is set as from an External PLAXIS LE - Groundwater analysis but could be turned off if the Slope Stability & Groundwater analyzes were combined in one model.

- [693570] Groundwater - Prevented a mix of Steady-State stages and Transient stages in a Groundwater analysis resolving several issues with the FEM Output display and results graph data being misaligned with the time selected for display.
- [740482] Consolidation - Fixed a flux graph display case with greater than 9 model layers and a volume graph display case.
- [740482] Consolidation - Fixed a regression in V21.03 which prevented Pseudo-3D consolidation analyses from running.
- [737858] Resolved issues saving and executing models when Unicode characters, including Cyrillic, were present in model file names or file paths.
- [736826] After a new project was added in the PLAXIS LE Manager, it was not immediately in the model Save As project selector.
- [721517] Resolved some cases accessing the SoilVision Soils database file (.db) when it was located on a network drive.
- [719745] Save As from the PLAXIS LE Manager while in Recent Models view did not display the new model just created.
- [675332] If a model had FEM Groundwater pore-water pressure results set as input, then saving a 3D model as a 2D model was not converting the results (.dat) file.
