How to turn on or off the Pop-up Info that appears when hovering the mouse over an element
Background
When hovering the mouse over elements, the Pop-up Info appears to display information about the element, such as Element Type and Level (see image below)
Steps to Accomplish
Pop-up Info can be enabled or disabled through AccuSnap Settings.
- MicroStation V8i: Go to the menu Settings > Snaps > AccuSnap
- MicroStation CONNECT Edition: Drawing > Drawing Aids > Snaps > AccuSnap Settings
- This will open the AccuSnap Setting dialog
- Select the General Tab
- The Pop-up Info option can be turned on or off
Please note that the setting “Identify Elements Automatically” needs to be enabled as well to get the pop up info displayed; so both settings need to be enabled at the same time as shown below:
