Problem

How do I get MicroStation plot files (pdfs) to be created in the same directory where the design file is located?

Solution

Select File Print> Edit Printer Driver Configuration (pdf.pltcfg) - Choose Base Properties tab>Default Print File Name>File Name: "$(noext(_DGNFILE))"
