Problem
When placing a table from an Excel file, the following message appears.
The table does not place and the Excel file's pathway is a valid location.
Solution
This is a known issue with earlier versions of MicroStation CONNECT Edition.
Updating to Update 15 (at least version 10.15.00.74) of MicroStation CONNECT Edition will resolve the issue in most cases.
In some cases, a reinstall or repair of Microsoft Excel and/or other Microsoft Office products on the machine is known to resolve as well.
Updating Office products to a 64-bit version is also a known solution.
