Problem Description
Having modified an Excel file that I had previously placed into my design as a Table, the option ‘ Refresh From Data Source ‘ is not available and will not update using the keyin ‘ Table Refresh all ‘. Why and how do I update the Table?
Background
Having selected the Table a right click in top left hand corner should present the option to update
If not present this is because when the original Table was placed from the Excel file the Place Table tool setting ‘ Retain Association ‘ was not checked, and thus not linked to its source.
Solution
Remove the originally place Table and replace it ensuring the ‘ Retain Association ‘ is checked if future updates are required.
