Overview
Battery Saver Mode for X3 Threads is a feature that will change your Thread power schedule to preserve battery power, and prevent the Thread from dying due to low input voltage. This article will explain how to enable the battery saver mode for the X3 Thread.

Enabling Battery Saver Mode
1. Navigate to the Connectivity page in ITwin IoT.
2. Click on the desired Thread within the Connections column.
3. Select the Edit Configuration Tab.
4. Click on the Battery Saver Mode slider to enable the battery saver mode
5. The battery lower limit will appear as 10%. This is the battery percentage that will trigger the Battery Saver Mode feature to turn your power scheduler into a low power mode until it has sufficient charge.
6. The Battery Higher Limit is set to 100%. Once your Thread is fully charged it will revert back to its original Power Schedule.
Note: This feature is only for X3 Threads and will not work for X2 or older Thread Hardware.
