Overview

Once the graph card is selected for the new Dashboard card, many aspects of the graph can be chosen among settings that are similar to a graph profile under the Data Module. This page will guide the user in configuring a Dashboard Graph card.

Sensors Settings

This article will start by covering the sensor's settings.

 

 

1 - Insert the card's name.

2 - Add the sensor you want to see on the graph.

3 - Select the colors for the lines on the graph.

4 - Select/deselect the trend line to be shown for each line.

5 - Drag to change the card size.

 

Axis Settings

Once the sensors settings are selected, it's time to configure the graph's axis.

 

 

1 - Add axis will add the Right Y-Axis.

2 - Configure the Left Y-Axis (Metric and Unit), which is the standard Y-axis.

3 - Configure the Right Y-Axis' Metric and Unit.

4 - Delete the Y-axis if needed, if the Left Y-Axis is deleted, the Right Y-Axis will automatically become the Left Y-Axis.

 

Display Settings

Display brings options of how to visualize data on the graph.

 

 

1 - Scatter plot will show each reading as a point instead of connecting them as a line.

2 - Will apply a logarithmic scale to the graph.

3 - Applies maximum and minimum limits to the Y-axis of the graph.

4 - Allows filters to be applied, hiding part of the data and showing what is within the filters.

5 - Will show the legend following the lines' colors.

6 - Temporal filter that hides data outside the selected hours of the day. For example, it is possible to filter data between 6 pm and 6 am to only see working hours data.

7 - Applies an average that can be set up as hourly, daily, weekly or monthly to smooth out the lines.

8 - Show or Hide the alerts related to the sensors shown on the graph.

 

 

9 - Add a horizontal line that can be named to indicate limits, it is possible to add as many lines and set their colors as necessary.

10 - Shows a vertical line to indicate configuration changes made on the Revision Management page of each sensor.

11 - Shows a vertical line to indicate custom events that can be created by clicking over each reading on the graph.

12 - Removes the card from the dashboard.

 

Actions on the Graph

There are also a few actions that can be taken on the graph card.

1 - Deletes the selected observation.

2 - Creates a custom event for the selected observation.

3 - Other options to print the graph, export the data, create a Table or an Alert based on the sensors shown on the graph.
