The following article describes the steps of installing MicroStation CONNECT Edition from a previously defined ‘Deployment image‘ along with resources to help you troubleshoot any problems.
The first step to installing from a Deployment Image, is locating the Deployment images themselves, their creation is typically done by your Site Administrator or IT department. Thus, you should contact them to provide you with Access to their location and the name of the executable to be run.
Prior to running the Deployment Image provided, check that your device meets the MicroStation CONNECT Requirements, this and other installation Troubleshooting resources can be found under Troubleshoot New Installations (Single Users). Note also the Deployment image install provided is likely to be pre-configured and thus you may not see all installation options during install. This is normal but should you find that having installed and launched MicroStation you’re missing an Option or Configuration please check with your Site Administrator in the first instance. It maybe they have provided the wrong Deployment Image, or a Drive mapping is not defined on your System pointing to required resources.
