Text from reference file appears different when reference visible edge is set to Cached.

Problem Description

We noticed that symbology changes when reference are cached. The line weight, text look different then when reference is set to dynamic.

Text appears when visible is set to cached and dynamic.

Steps to Resolve

To appear the text same when we change the visible edge from dynamic to cached in reference manager, follow the steps below.

  1. Go to the reference manager dialog and change visible edge from dynamic to cached.
  2. Now visible edge dialog will open here you need to select visible edge setting.
  3. Cached Visible edge setting will open, under general tab toggle off/disable the tick mark for Process Text and Dimensions option and select ok.Visible Edge Settings
  4. Now reload the reference and you can observe the text weight, text style.... is same as in dynamic visible edge.
