Overview
The Command Center is the first page users will see after logging into the iTwin IoT application. The page will function as an entry point to all the assets, or projects, the user has created or been granted access to view. It is also where the user would be able to "Register Asset", which creates a new project.
This page enables the user to see all of their assets from a birds eye view, it will enable the user to order assets by priority (how many alerts and issues are for an asset) or alphabetical.
On the upper right corner of the Assets window, the user can select a dropdown to toggle between a Detailed and Compact View. This section of the article will provide an overview of the navigation option available within each view.
Users with the correct administrative privileges can create new assets. Clicking on the "+ Asset" icon in the upper right corner of the Asset Page will bring the user to the "Register asset" page illustrated in the section below. This page allows the user to add an additional project to their organization.
For a more information on registering an asset please read the Creating a New Project - Register Asset article
A list of user privilege's can be found within the Organization Users and Roles article.
Each asset tile will give you a summary of 3 different alerts. This summary of alerts dictates the "priority" of each asset if you have that ordering set.
Data alerts - This is a summary of all of your data alerts for your sensors in the asset. It will tell you what the priority of the alerts is and it will always show the highest priority.
Status alerts - This is a summary of all of your status alerts for your sensors in the asset, so essentially how many sensors are not receiving new data. It will tell you what the priority of the alerts is and it will always show the highest priority.
System alerts - This is a summary of all of your system alerts for your sensors in the asset, for example a File Import profile not updating.
Clicking the "active/inactive" button for each asset will enable you to change the asset status, setting it to inactive will move it to the "inactive assets" category.
This will not stop billing for the inactive asset or disable data sources. This is for classification only in the Command Center.
Clicking the Asset notes button will allow you to add a note for your asset, such as who is the Project Manager or any additional info for your asset. You can add notes and also see when and who updated the Asset notes.
For each asset in the Command Center you can click the bell icon to view the Activity Feed for that asset. The Activity Feed is your main feed for seeing any alerts, status updates for reports, file imports and etc.
For more information on the Activity feed please read through the Activity Feed article.
