Ensure that the THREAD is turned on and that the MPBX is connected to the Thread via one of the Thread Device ports.

2. Press the

button directly on a THREAD to add a Device to it. If your THREAD does not appear here, you may still need to Add your thread as a Connection.

4. Begin by typing in "YieldPoint" and select the "dMPBX" name once it autocompletes in the search box.

5. Type in the Connect Code of the THREAD that the Device will be connected to. It will already be pre-filled if the

button on the THREAD was used.

6. Select the THREAD communication port that the device is plugged into, Device 1, 2, or 3.

Configuring the Device

The user will be directed to the Device configuration page for the newly added MPBX. The configuration options of the device will be explained below.

2. DEVICE NAME- Users can modify the Device Name. This will change the name of the device that populates across the webpage.

Note: Whatever information that is entered here will determine where the sensors populate when using a Georeference Spatial profile.

Configuring the Sensors

Once the Device is configured, the Thread will read the Extensometer and populate the appropriate number of transducer nodes and a temperature sensor beneath the dExto Device. These sensors can be viewed by clicking the drop-down arrow on the Connectivity page. Each sensor can be configured by clicking on it. This will bring you to the sensor details page. Clicking "Edit Configuration" will allow the user to access additional configuration details. The example illustrated below is for one of the extensometer sensors.

1. REFERENCE DATE- The reference date will specify the first date used when calculating delta metrics indicated with the ∆. Specify the Reference date to use any ∆ Delta calculations.

Note: If no reference date is chosen, delta calculations will automatically use the first data point in your time range selected as the reference date.

2. EXTENSOMETER REFERENCE SENSOR- Users can specify an extensometer that will result in the calculation of some metrics, including ∆ Z of Head.

3. INSTALL ELEVATION- Users can input an install elevation for the extensometer. This will allow the calculation of elevation metrics for the selected extensometer.

4 INSTALL DIRECTION- Users can input the install direction of the extensometer in order to correctly apply the measured displacement positively or negatively for calculated metrics.

5. SENSOR NAME- Users can modify the Sensor Name. This will change the name of the device that populates across the webpage.

6. SERIAL NUMBER- The user can input the serial number of the dEXTO device.

7. LOCATION- The Lat, Long and Elevation can be entered here.

Note: Whatever information that is entered here will determine where the sensors populate when using a Georeference Spatial profile.

8. NOTES- Notes for the sensor can be added here.

9. APPLY- Click "Apply" to save the sensor configuration and be navigated back to the connectivity page.
