Portfolio View

While the iTwin Experience provides a single-pane-of-glass of all your assets, the Portfolio is an organization-wide collection of digital twin data, with a spatial-first user experience. View your assets together with any Reality, BIM or GIS data, required by your users to complete their tasks.

In this section, you will read information about the tools and widgets in the Portfolio spatial first view.

iTwin Selector & Configuration

Click on the in the iTwin selector drop down to list all iTwins you have access to. You can type few characters in the search field to filter the list and quickly find what you are looking for. 

You can easily know what type of iTwin you are looking to as the type is displayed just below the iTwin's name.This is also the place where you can create new iTwin.

When the selected iTwin is of type Portfolio, a Configure button appears, right to the selector tool. This tool is available for Administrators only.

Map settings & Compass

Tools and Map settings - Click the Settings button to manage different settings. 

 

Graphics quality - Change the graphics quality from Low to High. The default is High.

Field of view - Change the field of view from Tele to Wide

Show Instructions - Check ON this toggle for instructions related to your tools.

Information - This section shows information about different component versions.

 

Compass - Click on the compass to reset the map orientation to true north.

Notifications & User Settings

The tools located on the top right side of the view give access to the Notifications and the User Settings.

Notifications - Click on the Notifications tool to see all notifications related to the different portfolios you are following.

 

You can filter the notifications by clicking on the different available options, AllUnreadGroup By Date or Category.

You can also click on the Marck All as Read to change the status of all notifications in one click. 

User Settings - Click on the User Settings tool to access different settings. 

The first section of the dialog shows the User account information.

Clicking on the Help menu item will direct you to the iTwin Experience Wiki pages from the Bentley Communities.

View profile - Clicking on the View profile menu item will start a new browser instance and display your user profile information.

Settings - Click on the Settings menu item to access different settings and update them to your needs.

Application - Select the application you want to change the settings. Two options are available: Visualizer and AI Detection.

Visualizer - Measurement tool units - You can set the Measurement tool units to MetricImperial or US Survey. Once you have selected the units, click on the unit of length drop-down list and choose the unit of your choice.

Visualizer - Selected object highlight - Click on the color picker to select the color that will be used when selecting an object.

Visualizer - Set GPU memory limit - Select one of the four options, depending on your device limits.

AI Detection - Click on the color picker and choose the color you want your lines to be displayed by the AI detection process.

Portfolio - Content

The tools located on the bottom right section of the view allow you to manage the Portfolio Content.

Viewpoints - The initial view will automatically be zoomed and centered on the predefined Portfolio extent.  Once other Viewpoints have been defined, click on one to select it.

Groups and Layers -  Click on the Groups and Layers button to manage the display of map layers. Click on the Groups and Layers toggle to turn ON or OFF all layers simultaneously. 

Home - Click on the Home button to go to the Portfolio Home section. For more information, go to the New Portfolio wiki page.

Assets - Click on the Assets button to go to the Assets page. For more information, go to the Assets View or Asset Administration section. 

Documents - Click on the Portofolio Documents page to access the storage location for files associated with the Portfolio iTwin.
