Photo Navigation - Asset

Photo Navigation

The Photo Navigation offers a consistent photo consumption experience across all of Bentley's « Powered by iTwin » web applications.

Prior to being able to use the Photo Navigation tool, a Mapping Ressource must be created and associated with the asset. For more information on these steps, go to the Publish result of a iTwin Capture Modeler aerotriangulation for the Photo Navigation page.

Once the Mapping Resource is created, it must be associated with the Asset . For more information on how to associate reality data with an asset, go to the Reality Data section.

Photo Navigation Settings

The Photo Navigation Settings dialog contains settings allowing you to enable different options.

Show camera position - When the toggle is enabled, the camera positions are displayed in the the left view. The cameras can be displayed as Dot or Cone.

Camera scale factor - When the Cone option is selected, the camera scale factor appears, allowing you to change the scale factor of the cameras.

Apply occlusion on cameras -  This feature hides camera positions that are physically behind the object you are viewing. For example, when looking at the top of a bridge deck, you will only see the camera positions relevant to that view, not those pointing underneath the bridge.
