In iTwin Experience, you work with iTwin of the following types, Portfolios, Assets and Projects.

A Portfolio is your single-pane-of-glass to all your assets and projects, providing a spatial first view for your organization and stakeholders. 

An Asset represents an actual infrastructure object that exists in the real world.

A Project represents a specific endeavor—a focused mission to design, build, or operate a piece of infrastructure. 

You can decide to work with Portfolios that contain your assets or either work directly with your assets and projects without the use of a portfolio.

Follow these steps to get value from iTwin Experience:

Create a Portfolio

• Create and configure a New Portfolio
• Share your portfolio by adding users to the Portfolio
• View your Portfolio

Create Asset

• Create an Asset or associated an existing one to a portfolio
• Prepare the composition of your iTwin Reality Data and BIM Data
• Connect IoT Monitoring
• Enable Inspection workflows by creating Forms and Inspections
• Run AI detection and view results
• Share your asset by adding users to the Asset

Create Project

• Create a Project
• Upload Reality Data and BIM Data
• Connect IoT Monitoring
• Enable Inspection workflows by creating Forms and Inspections
• Run AI Detection and view results
• Share your Project by adding users to the Project
