ProConcrete is an advanced 3D CAD software tool used to model, detail, and schedule reinforced concrete structures. ProConcrete was developed as a joint venture between aSa, and Bentley Systems, Inc.
ProConcrete provides architects, engineers, rebar detailers, and rebar fabricators with tools to quickly and easily develop a 3D model of all concrete and reinforcing required for a project. ProConcrete allows for easy modeling and handles cast-in-place and precast concrete elements. The software gives users the ability to develop reinforcing for any three-dimensional structure. Reusable templates and a wide variety of concrete and rebar tools eliminate hours of tedious drawing and detailing tasks.
So from a single ProConcrete model, users can automatically generate 2D rebar placing drawings, bar bending schedules, and parts lists. Changes to the 3D model automatically update all related documents. Additionally, the ProConcrete model has unparalleled connections to downstream aSa rebar fabrication applications. aSa automates rebar operations, including shop scheduling, tagging, equipment automation, fabrication, material tracking, and load tracking. Through the aSa Plant Manager, customers can see their fabricating operations at a glance or get detailed tracking reports that are perfect for jobs requiring heat/mill cert management, such as nuclear projects.
The system’s interoperability allows for easy collaboration between business partners using different CAD platforms and modeling packages. ProConcrete is the only 3D concrete modeling package designed to work with AutoCAD and MicroStation. Using Bentley’s Integrated Structural Model ProConcrete users can share model data with other 3D tools, such as Revit, STAAD, and RAM.
