Overview

ProStructures Object Enabler:

ProStructures Object Enabler is a program that is required to interpret custom objects in a CAD file. If the object enabler is missing, some information in the application might not display correctly.

AutoCAD users in their structural workflow without ProStructures can still open and view ProStructures files in AutoCAD by installing Object Enabler on their workstation.

ProStructures Plug-in for Bentley Products:

"ProStructures Plug-in for Bentley Products" is for users who have older version of MicroStation but want to see ProSteel/ProStructures objects in MicroStation.

"ProStructures Plug-in for Bentley Products" updates "Bentley – Autodesk RealDWG" component. It is a ProStructures Object Enabler for MicroStation and suites as well for other Bentley powerplatform programs those uses "Bentley – Autodesk RealDWG" component: Bentley i-model Composer, Bentley Navigator, Bentley View etc.

These applications and Plug in are available on the Bentley SELECTservices software downloads page by choosing "Search By: Product = ProStructures, Filter By: Download Category: Free Updates/Utilities." 

But there are some situations when users don't have any Bentley software, its support or possibility to download it from Bentley Software Fulfillment center and have the need very regularly to interface with drawings/models, that are created using the Bentley software.
